OUR GOAL
We strive to build the foundations of a strong, fair and equal democracy through education and practical engagement in democratic processes, in which every citizen not only knows their rights but also knows how to use them. We believe that true democracy is not just elections every few years, but daily, conscious participation in public life.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Academy of Direct Democracy is to educate active, responsible citizens who understand how direct democracy works and can participate in it effectively. Our goal is to support the development of a civil society in which each person has a real influence on decisions that affect their life, community and state.
We are creating a democratic community
Our community is a space for people who want to engage in direct democracy activities and exchange experiences and ideas. In this section you will find:
Forum
A place for discussion, exchange of views and asking questions. The forum is a space where members can share their experiences of democratic processes, ask questions to experts and organize discussions on topics related to the practice of direct democracy.
Discussion groups
Thematic groups that allow for in-depth discussion on selected topics, such as referenda, citizens' initiatives or possibilities for political reform in different countries. Each group aims to enable more detailed conversation in narrower circles of interested people.
