Professor Mirosław Matyja is a distinguished scientist, holding a postdoctoral degree in social sciences, a doctorate in economics, and a doctorate in humanities. His unique, interdisciplinary background combines political science, history, economics, and philosophy, giving him a rare, holistic perspective on the functioning of democratic societies.

For over 30 years, the professor has been researching, analyzing, and promoting the idea of direct democracy, drawing on the experience of Switzerland—a country that is a world leader in this field. Over the years, he has lectured at universities in Poland, Switzerland, India, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, publishing numerous academic papers and books.

The Professor's achievements include, among others:

• Numerous publications on political systems and direct democracy,
